Metals USA enters deal to purchase Eagle Steel Products assets

Metals USA Holdings Corp. has signed an agreement to purchase certain assets of Eagle Steel Products Inc., which will be renamed Ohio River Metal Services Inc. (ORMS).
The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Eagle Steel and ORMS operate a pair of flat-rolled metal service centers. Serving the automotive, appliance, office products and construction industries, ORMS has a 200,000-square-foot warehouse and processing center in Jeffersonville, Ind., and Eagle Steel has a 130,000-square-foot facility across the river in Louisville, Ky., according to Eagle's Web site.....
