Aluminum smelter scrap prices see drop

Aluminum smelter scrap prices dropped a penny across the board this week, as traded volumes recorded a seasonal drop just before Thanksgiving.
Traders said prices could fall by another penny next week if the price of primary aluminum on the London Metal Exchange slides further. Cash aluminum settled Tuesday at $2,221 per tonne ($1 per pound), down nearly 2 percent from Monday's settled price of $2,265 per tonne, or $1.02 per pound.....
