Ormet plans potline restart at Ohio aluminum smelter

Primary aluminum producer Ormet Corp. will restart two idled potlines at its Hannibal, Ohio, smelter, bringing the facility back up to full operational capacity for the first time in nearly two years.
The six-potline smelter, which has a nameplate capacity of 266,000 tonnes per year but has been operating at a rate of about 180,000 tonnes a year, will return to full output levels in the first quarter, the Hannibal-based company said Wednesday.....
