'Mac' McAninch dies at 75; founded Universal Stainless and Alloy Products

Clarence "Mac" McAninch, the founder and recently retired chairman of Universal Stainless and Alloy Products Inc., passed away Nov. 27 following a brief illness, the company announced.

McAninch, 75, founded Universal Stainless and Alloy Products in 1994 by joining with a small group of investors to acquire the idled stainless and alloy products division of Armco Inc., Bridgeville, Pa., where he had been vice president of sales and marketing. ....
