AISI asks Congress to stop EPA greenhouse gas plan

The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) has joined with other industrial groups in urging Congress to block the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's plan to regulate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
In a letter to Congress, AISI, along with the National Association of Manufacturers and the Aluminum Association, asked for a moratorium on EPA greenhouse gas regulations for stationary sources, such as steel plants. They requested that the EPA be prevented from instituting regulations on stationary sources under the Clean....
