Schnitzer Steel Industries Inc. has acquired two more used auto parts retailers and bought land adjacent to one of its hometown yards to further its expansion, the company said Wednesday.
The acquisition by Portland, Ore.-based Schnitzer comprised three transactions substantially all the assets of Waco U-Pull-It Inc., Waco, Texas; an auto parts facility in Stockton, Calif., that will become a specialty self-service facility; and a property adjacent to one....
