China's quarterly ferrochrome benchmark price eyed

China's ferrochrome market could develop benchmark pricing along the lines of the European quarterly charge chrome price, especially if consolidation and restructuring create more big producers, according to Xstrata Plc's Hansen Luo.

"China could adopt a pricing system like the European companies," Luo told delegates at the International Chromium Development Association's 2010 conference in Shanghai.....
