China mining investments logging ‘tremendous’ growth exec

China is increasing investment in mining exploration at a "tremendous" rate, Magnus Ericsson, co-founder and senior partner of Raw Materials Group (RMG), said at the Mines and Money conference in London.

The country spent 26.1 billion yuan ($3.9 billion) on exploration in 2009, recent figures from the Ministry of Land and Resources' Department of Geological Exploration, Beijing, show.....
