Stainless scrap exports tumble 21.1%

Offshore demand for stainless scrap turned in a dull performance in September as exports sank 21.1 percent from the prior month's year-high pace.
Shipments to foreign specialty steelmakers and importers slipped to 71,377 tonnes during the month, the latest U.S. Commerce Department figures show.....
