Heenan retires from SRI; built sustainablility efforts

Bill Heenan has retired as president of the Steel Recycling Institute (SRI), ending a nearly 40-year career in the steel industry.
Gregory L. Crawford replaced Heenan on Dec. 1, according to an announcement Wednesday by Larry Kavanagh, president of the Steel Market Development Institute, which oversees activities of the SRI as a part of the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), Washington, D.C.
Citing health concerns, Heenan retired after 20 years with SRI that followed a 19-year-career with U.S. Steel Corp., Pittsburgh.....
