Derichebourg nets $82.3M as annual sales jump 28.3%

Derichebourg Group returned to the black in fiscal 2010 as scrap metal sales boosted the company's annual revenue by 28.3 percent, the company said.
The French conglomerate, which operates scrapyards in Texas and Oklahoma, as well as in Europe, posted consolidated net income of 61.5 million euros ($82.3 million), in contrast to a net loss of 179.1 million euros the prior fiscal year. Much of that was attributed to asset write-downs, the Paris-based company said in a statement.....
