Schnitzer in deal to acquire Canadian scrap processor Amix Salvage

Schnitzer Steel Industries Inc. has entered a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all the assets of Amix Salvage & Sales Ltd., Vancouver, British Columbia.
The terms of the transaction, which follows other recent deals, were not disclosed.
Amix Salvage & Sales has two yards in Surrey, British Columbia, and operates a chain of feeder yards in British Columbia and Alberta. It has operated from its Surrey base for 39 years.....
