Union to vote Dec. 22 on third tentative deal at Century's Hawesville smelter

Century Aluminum Co. has reached another tentative agreement with United Steelworkers union members at the company's 250,000-tonne-per-year Hawesville, Ky., smelter.
The deal, which still requires union ratification, would last five years and cover some 500 hourly workers at the site. The USW is scheduled to vote on the proposed agreement Dec. 22, the Monterey, Calif.-based company said.....
