NAmerican aluminum shipments in Nov. recede MSCI

Aluminum shipments by North American distributors fell for the third consecutive month in November despite distributors' reports of stronger-than-expected sales across most end-use sectors.
In November, shipments by U.S. and Canadian service centers fell 3.8 percent to 122,900 tons from 127,800 tons in October, according to the latest data from the Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI).
U.S. service centers were behind the decline, with shipments falling 5 percent month on month to 110,300 tons. Meanwhile, Canadian service centers logged a slight uptick in aluminum shipments that month, climbing 7.7 percent in November over October to 12,600 tons.....
