Byer Steel Group acquires fabricator Gastrich Re-Bar

Byer Steel Group has acquired rebar fabricator Gastrich Re-Bar Inc., a move the company said will complement and add to its current customer base.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Burke Byer, president and owner of Byer Steel, said the acquisition would add about 5,000 tons of rebar fabrication capacity annually. Byer Steel has rebar production capacity of about 40,000 tons per year.....
