'Steel Home Alabama'
"Steel Home Alabama" was the slogan at the grand opening of ThyssenKrupp AG's plant in Calvert, Ala., and the event lived up to expectations. Southern rock group Lynyrd Skynyrd blasted their signature tune "Sweet Home Alabama" at the end of an opening ceremony that included acrobats, dancing fiddlers and a steel-inspired fashion show, possibly the only time a model has worn butterfly wings made of stainless. The evening kicked off with an estimated 4,000 guests gorging themselves on cascading shrimp and bowls of quail before Skynyrd....
