Aluminum scrap exports inch higher

U.S. exports of aluminum scrap recovered slightly in October, with demand from South Korea and India increasing as Chinese orders remained flat.
Exports rose 1.2 percent to 169,398 short tons during the month, according to the latest data from the U.S. Commerce Department, reversing a 3.3-percent drop to 167,238 tons in September. However, the October tally remained 2 percent behind August shipments of 172,904 tons.....
