Capstone Mining aims to recover from 2010 production setbacks

Capstone Mining Corp. expects copper output to recover next year following the production problems that plagued the company in 2010.

The Vancouver, British Columbia, company forecasts copper in concentrate output at 80 million to 85 million pounds next year vs. its latest 2010 guidance of 78 million to 80 million pounds.

Output was halted at its Cozamin Mine in Zacatecas, Mexico, for 10 days following a Nov. 26 accident that resulted in a worker fatality. ....
