Commerce looks to revise anti-dumping duty reviews

The U.S. Commerce Department is considering revising how it imposes anti-dumping duties, particularly for companies in non-market economy countries, including—but not limited to—China.
As part of an overall review of its practices, Commerce is evaluating whether it should revise current policy, which limits the number of companies examined individually and assigns an anti-dumping duty rate to all others not selected individually.
Commerce also is evaluating how it reviews companies from what it classifies as non-market economy countries. It is seeking public comment before Jan. 31, 2011.....
