Sims MM acquires New York scrapyard

Sims Metal Management said Monday that its North American metals division has acquired the assets of Crash's Scrap Metals Inc.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Sims said the purchase price consideration is not material and that the transaction will be immediately accretive to its earnings.
Crash's Scrap Metals is a full-service ferrous and nonferrous scrap metals processing facility located in Utica, N.Y. The company has been operated by the Giovinazzo family since 1953.....
