Electronic waste recycler WeRecycle! LLC said it has filed for permission to serve as a third-party collector of discarded electronic products under New York State's new Electronic Equipment Recycling and Reuse Act.
The new law requires electronics manufacturers to take responsibility for safe disposal of their products and establish an operational collection program by April 1 in every county and each municipality with a population....
