LME steel billet future prices rise, but below physical market

Steel billet prices rose 1.9 percent last week on the London Metal Exchange, but continued to trade at a discount to the physical market, sources said.

Three-month billet settled at $550 per tonne Friday, up from $540 per tonne at the start of the week. The contract remained unchanged on Monday.....
