California scrap executive seeks venue change in suit

A Californian scrap executive has asked a federal court in Washington state to move a breach of contract suit filed against him by a scrap trader to California.

Howard Misle, president of San Jose, Calif.-based American Metal Group Inc. (AMG), filed a motion last week in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, located in Tacoma, seeking to dismiss the suit. He claims that neither he nor any of his employees traveled to Washington state during its disputed dealing with Vancouver, Wash.-based CNA Metals West Coast LLC.....
