Steel fabricator approved for sports stadium project

A subsidiary of Canadian structural steel fabricator Canam Group Inc. has won a contract worth more than Canadian $44 million ($43.4 million) to help build and provide steel for a new sports stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Under the contract, the subsidiary, Structal-Heavy Steel Construction, will perform design-build, detailing, business information modeling and project management services, as well as the fabrication and erection of the steel components. Construction of the stadium is expected to cost....
