Supermetal set to ink deal for purchase of SC facility

Supermetal Holdings USA, a newly created division of Supermetal Structures Inc., Saint-Romuald, Quebec, expects to soon close on its purchase of a former Worthington Industries Inc. distribution warehouse facility in Rock Hill, S.C., where it will install new steel fabricating equipment.
The deal, supported by $5 million in tax-exempt bonds through the South Carolina Jobs-Economic Development Authority, would establish Supermetal's first U.S. plant, which is to design and produce steel structures used in commercial, industrial and civil projects across North America.....
