Sadoff & Rudoy installing new shear at Wis. facility

Sadoff & Rudoy Industries LLP is looking to boost its market share with the installation of a more environmentally friendly shear that it's currently installing at its Fond du Lac, Wis., facility.
The company is putting the final touches on the installation of its 1100 Harris side compression shear, the first of its kind produced by Harris Equipment, and plans to have the equipment running by Dec. 31.
"This is going to be a workhorse for us. It is a high-production machine, more environmentally friendly than our existing one, lowers our operating cost per ton and increases productivity," Brad Lasky, the company's executive vice president, said.....
