SDI wins ‘Vermonter’ project rail supply pact

Steel Dynamics Inc. (SDI) will supply 28,500 net tons of continuous welded rail to L.B. Foster Co., its strategic rail distributor, for installation on the New England Central Railroad.
The financial terms were not disclosed.
The rail will be delivered to Vermont for use in the New England Central's "Vermonter" project, part of the Federal Railroad Administration's High-Speed Intercity Passenger Rail Program and is being funded in part through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.....
