Marad awards dismantling contracts for ‘ghost ships’

Three more vessels from the U.S. Maritime Administration (Marad) "Ghost Fleet" have a date with ship breakers' torches in Texas and Virginia.
Marad has awarded contracts to Esco Marine Inc., Brownsville, Texas, to recycle the SS Dawn for about $551,000 and the USNS H.H. Hess for about $452,000, according....
