ITA eyes policy change impacting calculation of anti-dumping duties

The U.S. Commerce Department is proposing a policy change that would reduce or eliminate many anti-dumping duties on goods shipped to the United States.
The procedural change has been proposed by the Commerce Department's International Trade Administration (ITA), which sets remedial duties on imported goods held to be unjustifiably cheap and damaging to U.S. producers.
Under the proposed protocol, the ITA, after calculating the cheapest reasonable price for an import, would examine the extent to which sales below that figure are offset by sales above the threshold value.....
