Obama gets bill on lead in plumbing

A bill to tighten existing standards for lead content in plumbing fixtures has been sent to President Obama to be signed into law.

The Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act redefines "lead free" to allow a maximum weighted average of 0.25 percent lead content on wetted surfaces of pipes and plumbing....
