CHICAGO — Ford Motor Co., together with its partners in China, is building its first transmission plant in China to support its growth plan in the world’s largest automotive market.
The automaker’s passenger vehicle joint venture in China, Chang’an Ford Mazda Automobile Ltd. (CFMA), signed a memorandum of understanding late last week with the Chongqing Municipal Government for the transmission plant project.....
