Essar lifts pellet output for Minn. plant rollout: report

PITTSBURGH — India’s Essar Group has decided to increase production levels at the iron ore pellet plant that is scheduled to come online as part of Essar Steel Minnesota LLC next year.
The decision was made in order to secure iron ore pellet supplies for Essar Steel Minnesota’s sister company, Essar Steel Algoma Inc., Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and to allow Essar Steel Algoma to sell surplus ore on the open market in North America, according to a report by India’s Economic Times.....
