LME aims for more steel warehouses: Evans

LONDON The London Metal Exchange is looking to venture further into the American market after it recently approved the listing of two billet brands from Commercial Metals Co.s facilities in Alabama and Texas, Chris Evans, the exchanges head of business development, told AMM.
"Weve quite recently listed CMC in the United States and would envision other listings at this stage," he said.
The exchange is also looking to expand its warehousing presence by adding more locations to the three it has already approved, Evans said.
"Were working with market participants to ensure that we pick the right location," he said.....
