Aleris to add cold mill at Belgian plant

NEW YORK Aleris International Inc. plans to boost capacity in Belgium with the addition of a new cold-rolling mill that will come online at the end of 2012, chairman and chief executive officer Steven Demetriou said Monday, noting that building on its plate-rolling mill in China continues.
"We have approved a cold mill expansion and upgrade in Duffel, Belgium, that will increase our capacity in wide auto body sheet," Demetriou said in the companys second-quarter earnings call.....
