JMC set to launch Sharon DOM tubing expansion

TORONTO JMC Steel Group plans to begin construction on a project to boost drawn-over-mandrel (DOM) mechanical tubing capacity at its Sharon, Pa., facility in the fourth quarter, with the revamped operations scheduled to begin production in the first quarter of 2013.
The project will double the size of the Sharon plant, part of JMC subsidiary Wheatland Tube Co.....
