PHILADELPHIA — Appliance Recycling Centers of America Inc. (Arca) second-quarter results got a boost from higher recycling revenue and stronger profit margins at its appliance scrapping facility.
Net income for the three months ended July 2 jumped to $2.1 million from $641,000 in the same period last year on a 16.6-percent increase in revenue to $32.9 million from $28.2 million.....
