Chinese stainless flat product exports up 5% in July

SHANGHAI, China — Chinese exports of stainless flat products rebounded in July, prompted by a surge in South Korean demand, and are expected to increase further this month.
“Nickel prices fell in June and Chinese exporters were offering very low prices. (Demand from South Korea) may continue rising in August,” one Seoul, Korea-based stainless importer said. ....
