NEW YORK — The domestic stainless steel industry is appealing a decision by the International Trade Commission (ITC) to remove anti-dumping duties on imports of stainless sheet and strip from Mexico, a lawyer representing the U.S. mills told AMM.
AK Steel Corp., West Chester, Ohio, the Allegheny Ludlum division of Allegheny Technologies Inc., Pittsburgh, and North American Stainless Inc., Ghent, Ky., have filed an appeal with the relevant North American Free Trade Agreement (Nafta) authority, taking the first step in an appeal process which could go to the U.S. Court of International Trade, David A. Hartquist....
