CHICAGO — America’s metal manufacturers and fabricators generally saw strong gains in sales and earnings during the second quarter compared with the first three months of the year.
A U.S. Census Bureau report shows a 6.2-percent improvement in sales by the primary metals industry and 7-percent sales growth by fabricated metal producers compared with the first quarter, and increases....
