Waxman ‘no contact’ list in bail terms

TORONTO Former Philip Services Corp. executive Robert K. Waxman is barred from associating with 30 individuals under the terms of his release on bail.
Among them are some former Philip Services executives, including Robert Knauss, former chairman; Allen Fraccassi, former president and chief executive officer; Marvin Boughton, former executive vice president and chief financial officer; John Woodcroft, former executive vice president of operations; Graham Hoey, former senior vice president of finance; Colin Soule, former general counsel; and Felix Pardo, former board member.
Justice Thomas Lofchik of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Hamilton last week sentenced Waxman, 56, to eight years in prison and ordered him to pay about $15.5 million in fines after being convicted on fraud and theft charges (AMM, Oct. 21). Just a few hours later, Waxman was released from custody on Canadian $1 million ($984,000) bail by the Court of Appeal for Ontario in Toronto.....
