GM adding Sonic assembly to Mexico site

MEXICO CITY General Motors Co. said it will start assembling the four-cylinder Chevrolet Sonic for Mexico and Central and South America at its Ramos Arizpe complex in northern Mexico in 2012.
GM, which announced a $500-million investment at the facility last year, said the subcompacts production will replace that of the smaller Chevrolet Chevy passenger car.....
