Spooner Metals asks court to block suspension

PHILADELPHIA — An attorney for Spooner Metals LLC is expected to ask a Michigan court for an injunction barring the city of Flint from shutting down the scrapyard for 60 days.
The Genesee County Circuit Court on Wednesday rejected the company’s request for a temporary restraining order, which would have allowed the scrapyard to continue operating for at least 14 days. But Spooner’s attorney, Rita Lauer, said she was going back to the county court to seek an injunction.....
