CHICAGO Progress Rail Services Corp., a subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc., celebrated the opening of its Muncie, Ind., locomotive manufacturing plant Saturday.
Progress Rail announced the site selection in October 2010 and began construction in January. Less than 10 months after construction began, the Muncie facilitythe first new locomotive plant to open in the U.S. in decadeshas already....
