CHICAGO Metals processor and distributor Ryerson Inc. returned to profitability in the third quarter, posting net income of $12.1 million vs. a $7.2-million loss during the second quarter and a $14.5-million loss in the third quarter of last year.
Net sales of almost $1.22 billion were down 5.4 percent from second-quarter revenue of $1.29 billion but up 18.1 percent from a year earlier.....
