LA recycler inching closer to auto shredder approval

PITTSBURGH — A Los Angeles-based scrap metals recycler and exporter is one step closer to receiving final approval for an auto shredder at one of its two locations.
After a Nov. 9 public hearing, the Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning approved Sun-Lite Metals Inc.’s request for a conditional-use permit. Final approval is expected within the next month.....
