The benefits of cheap labour associated with the Chinese aluminium scrap market are swiftly disappearing, Sims Metal Management Asia’s chairman Michael Lion said at Metal Bulletin's 19th International Recycled Aluminium conference in Istanbul.
”China’s labour advantage is a diminishing factor, and it’s diminishing very fast,” Lion said. “It will not be significant going forward.” ....
