DAILY SCRAP REPORT: Deals and rumours flood the market as prices fall further

Metal Bulletin’s Daily Ferrous Scrap Index cfr Iskenderun fell to $410.10 per tonne on an HMS 1&2 (80:20) basis on Friday, down from $415.35 on Thursday. Several deals were heard on the market, with yesterday’s rumour of an ex-US cargo emerging as a deal done last week at $418 and $423 per tonne cfr for HMS 1&2 (80:20) and shredded material.
