Cosma acquires four foundries from die caster

CHICAGO — Cosma International, a subsidiary of Tier I automotive supplier Magna International Inc., has agreed to acquire four aluminum foundries from BDW Technologies Group.

BDW Technologies’ parent company, Germany-based BDW Group, is a vacuum high-pressure aluminum die caster, with 2011 sales expected at €160 million (U.S. $215.4 million), according to a statement from Magna.....
