Metalformers cautious heading into ’12: PMA

CHICAGO Metalformers dont have a crystal-clear view into next year or even into next quarter, but some seem to expect slow, steady growth, as do most of their customers, despite a survey of 132 companies by the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) that seems to indicate otherwise.
The number of PMA members who forecast an upward trend in business conditions throughout the next three months dropped to 11 percent from 20 percent in Octoberthe lowest in the past two years. The number of companies who forecast a downturn rose to 28 percent from 24 percent in October.....
