Indian ferrous scrap import prices fall, enquiries increase

Prices for ferrous shredded scrap imported into India fell slightly this week, attracting more interest from buyers in need of containerised shipments.

Shredded material in containers was at $435-445 per tonne cfr Nhava Sheva, down from $440-445 cfr a week ago.

HMS 1&2 (80:20) prices were at $400-420 per tonne cfr, unchanged from a week ago. ....
